STAFF SERVICES MANAGER (SSM I) – BALDWIN HILLS & URBAN WATERSHEDS CONSERVANCY – LOS ANGELES COUNTY
The reporting location for this position is Stoneview Nature Center, Culver City, CA. This position will work under the general direction of the Executive Officer.
Under the general direction of the Executive Officer, the Staff Services Manager I is a full time, permanent position that supervises a small group of analysts performing journeyperson level work and program management work. Duties include but are not limited to participating in the planning, organizing, coordinating, and administration of various elements of the Conservancy’s operational and strategic goals and directives set by the Governing Board and Executive Officer.
The incumbent will perform and manage a broad range of interdisciplinary governmental, financial, and analytical assignments. Work includes the development and implementation of procedures, policies, programs, assessments, supervising analysts, preparing staff reports, producing board memos/packets, as well as engaging constituents. The employee is occasionally required to work outdoors when conducting field visits or providing support for on-site programs.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered.
