We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector for our Plastic Injection facility located in Lapeer MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of plastic injection molded parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Utilize measuring tools and equipment to assess product dimensions and quality.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformities to the production team.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Assist in training new team members on quality inspection processes and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality assurance is a plus.
• Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in plastic injection molding.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Salary info:

$17 - $17.50 / hr
