WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and creating and reconciling invoices, along with A/R and A/P processes and payroll. If you have an Accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

• Accounting duties - AR, AP, Invoicing, PO's, and Collections.
• Maintaining digital and physical financial records.
• Prepare bank deposits.
• Create and maintain budgets and expense reports.
• Check reports and spreadsheets for accuracy.
• Review and file payroll documentation.
• Research, data entry and data management.
• Proof letters and perform grammar checks.
• Provide ad hoc support around office as needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management, staff, clients, and departments.
• Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to swiftly respond to multiple demanding situations and switch gears quickly.
• Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Adapts quickly to new technology.
• Ability to commute to the office location.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Compensation Range: $25-35/hr. (We value our employees’ time and believe your time should be compensated accordingly. This position will be paid on an hourly basis with overtime as needed.)
